I absolutely love
contributing to the
growth and success of individuals through
coaching.
Hi there! I'm Romy,
I became an ICF-accredited coach in 2021 after completing my certification at the New Zealand Institute of Coaching. This experience showed me that being present and actively listening is so much more valuable than just handing out generic advice.
My career started back in 2008 as a political advisor working in the German Parliament. Working closely with an MP for many years, one of the things I’ve learned is how crucial trust is in having meaningful conversations. After six years, I moved on to become a team leader at a consultancy firm. My background in politics and languages was quite different from my colleagues, and it taught me the importance of intuition when working with people.
In 2016, I got the chance to move abroad, and it’s been an adventure ever since, especially with a family in tow. Settling into a new country wasn’t easy at first – even small things like making a doctor’s appointment felt challenging. But it helped me realize the power of observation in understanding new situations.
I love spending time with my family and friends, and I'm always interested in hearing other people’s stories. One of my quirks is constantly rearranging furniture – it always gives me fresh perspectives!
Now, as a professional coach, I’m grateful to use all these experiences to help others. I’m not here to give you advice; I’m here to really understand what you’re going through, how you feel, and what you can do about it.
